East Staffs PCN offers a variety of services for our patients and communities.
First Contact Physiotherapists (FCP)
If your GP surgery has a first contact physiotherapy service, you can book an appointment directly with a physiotherapist via the receptionist, which means you won’t need to wait for a referral from a doctor.
Extended Access Services
Appointments with GPs are for people requiring routine or same day GP appointments but who are unable to attend their GP during normal opening hours.
Social Prescribing
Social prescribing involves helping patients to improve their health, wellbeing and social welfare by connecting them to community services which might be run by the council or a local charity. For example, signposting people who have been diagnosed with dementia to local dementia support groups.
