FAQ on Gordon Street Surgery

The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB) can confirm that, after Friday 3 May 2024, there will be a change in provider of GP services for Gordon Street Surgery.

East Staffordshire Primary Care Partnership will provide GP services to those patients registered at Gordon Street Surgery, while the ICB looks for a long-term solution.

Patients do not need to do anything as they will automatically be transferred over to the new GP team.

Monday 6th May is a bank holiday, and so from Tuesday 7 May patients can continue to call the same number as they usually would to access GP services.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to use the building where you currently access Gordon Street Surgery from Tuesday 7 May 2024. Therefore, please do not attend this building after this time. You will find more information on this below:

Outwoods House, Belvedere Road, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, DE13 0QL (just before Amber Wood Care Home, on the right. Please follow the signs for ‘Gordon Street Surgery’)

Hill Street Health and Wellbeing Centre, Hill Street, Burton-on-Trent, DE15 9LD

Patients are asked not to attend the above addresses unless they have contacted the practice by telephone and have been asked to attend.

Please read the FAQ document top of this page, which has all the necessary information for registered patients. All registered patients have also been contacted by letter with this information.

If you have read the FAQs and still have further question, please complete this short feedback form. We will continue to update the FAQs document in line with the responses we receive to this survey, so please continue to refer back to that document.

If you have comments or concerns, please contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) by calling freephone 0808 196 8861 or by emailing patientservices@staffsstoke.icb.nhs.uk. PALS is open from 9am until 4pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
