What to do if someone is choking

- Always wear gloves when holding sparklers.
- Keep sparklers away from clothes, hair and others.
- Do not give sparklers to children under 5.
- Place finished sparklers into a bucket of cold water or sand.
🎆 Fireworks & Bonfires
- Attend organised displays where possible.
- Do not use fireworks if you have been drinking alcohol.
- Light one firework at a time and stand well back.
- Never return to a firework that hasn’t gone off.
- Keep a safe distance from bonfires and supervise children closely.
- Never burn aerosols, batteries, tyres or foam-filled furniture.
